What are the prerequisites for the B/B TT Course?
Our B/B Teacher Training is designed to be extremely comprehensive, so there are no specific prerequisites for the course. However we highly recommend that our teachers consider taking additional Pilates Mat or Anatomy trainings either before or after attending the course. We also advise you attend a First Aid/CPR training. It's important to note that prior teaching experience is not required, as everyone has to start somewhere.
When can I start teaching Barre?
Once you complete your in-person course, you will receive a Certificate of Participation. If you feel prepared, you can start teaching right away. However, we highly suggest conducting some practice sessions with your family & friends before you begin teaching, particularly if you are new to the teaching profession. It's best to not feel rushed, a strong first impression can have an immediate and lasting impact.
We strongly encourage you to complete the remaining components of our course and upon successfully passing the exam and your demo video, you will be a Certified Barre Burn Teacher.
Is your teacher training only for teachers?
Our B/B TT program is specifically designed to equip you with the skills to teach exceptional classes. Our comprehensive curriculum covers all aspects of Barre, including technique analysis, intelligent sequencing, and developing confidence as a Barre instructor to provide an unforgettable experience for your clients. Our course is open to anyone, regardless of their background, whether you're a fitness instructor, yoga/pilatesre teacher, a barre enthusiast looking to improve your form, or someone with no prior experience in barre. We welcome you to join us!
Upon completion of our 24-hour in-person training, you will be awarded a certificate of participation. You will have a maximum of 6 months after the in-studio training to complete the online modules for Health & Safety + Anatomy. You are also required to submit your Barre assessment (a 50-minute video of you teaching a barre class with a minimum of three people). It is possible to complete this within 1 month. Once all requirements are met, you will be eligible for your B/B certification.
How long does the training take?
What qualification will I receive?
After successfully completing our course, you will become a Certified Barre Burn Instructor. We are an Approved Provider of ISSA and will be awarded 20 CEUs. While there is no global regulatory or governing body for Barre, you can start teaching in most countries immediately after completing the course. However, you may need additional insurance and CPR/First Aid training specific to your country/region. Our course is recognized by industry bodies, but you do not need to be part of any associations to teach. Government accreditation is not required as our world-class training equips you to become a certified barre instructor in Dubai and internationally.
What is required to receive the B/B certification?
